Camelhorse!

Tuesday, January 3, 2012

In my home language, Afrikaans, we call giraffes 'Kameelperde'.

Yeah, for the Americans and Brits reading this, I'm not expecting you to get that word on the first try. But loosely and atrociously translated it means Camelhorse. Just a little preview of what is still to come following our New Years trip to the Pilansberg Nature Reserve.

(I tried to remove the noise the iPhone photo makes, such bad quality, so now it looks like a water painting.
Still pretty isn't it?)

I just love Giraffes!

Love the effect you created. I once fed a giraffe at the zoo and it was so freaking close. Loved it. :)
